Greenest Fastest Mile Course
The 1 Mile & 5K both start on the southbound side of the Los Angeles State Historic Park, just across from the Cargo bar & eatery. The course is flat and fast covering the compact dirt pavement & concrete path. The 5K also covers a portion of the 1-mile race route. You are going to run your best times on this course.

Race Day & Cargo Microbrew Fest Schedule
5K Run | Starts 8:00 AM. You are encouraged to arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to ensure to pick up your bib, t-shirt, bracelet to access the VIP Cargo Microbrew beer garden.
GFM 1 Mile start will follow after the conclusion of the 5K at approximately 9:15AM
1 Mile Race 9:30 A.M. | Combined for 2022
Beer Garden | 9:30 A.M.
Awards Ceremony | 10:00 A.M.
Starting Line Rules
- - Make your way to the start line at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your race.
- - Slower runners and joggers for both 5K & 1-mile races are suggested they Start in the back or adjust accordingly. There will be fast runners, so please give them way to make it to the front.
Parking
- - VIP, Sponsors, Vendor parking will be located on the south side of the park just next to the visitor center. Those who pay for their parking in advance will be provided with a unique parking pass. Enter in the "VIP ENTRANCE" driveway.
- - General parking will be $20 in the wood chip area just outside the park. Free parking on the public streets.
Metro Access
- Chinatown Metro Station is located just 400 yards from the main venue. Public transit is encouraged.
